  • Finding Swimwear/Bikinis In Autumn

It’s that ambigous part of year again when people start to figure out that summer is closing to an end and autumn is just around the corner and you haven’t even yet been on holiday! So people start booking last minute flights to somewhere exotic to catch the last of the available sunshine. The only issue is that you will need some decent swimwear/bikinis seeing as you’ll be lazing around the beach or the swimming pool for the majority of the time and high street shops usually stop stocking their swimwear ranges by the end of summer, so you may find yourself in a bit of a pickle…

Not to worry though, as online shopping is now very safe and secure. Not only is it that you’re often presented with a wider range of styles and designs. Some people may be put off buying bikinis or other such clothing online due to the lack of the ability to try before you buy. However, this shouldn’t be the scenario. As long as you know you’re own measurements and what sort of swimwear you’re looking for, most online shops these days have size conversion charts to help to you find that perfect match.

Also often when you’re buying bikinis online you’re buying from a specialist store than only stocks swimwear, meaning you not only get a much wider range, it is often much cheaper and the best thing about it is that they’re open for business all year round!

So if you’ve booked a late holiday this year, need some swimwear out of season or simply want to find a place with more variety than your local shops, you should definitely try swimwear and bikini shopping online!

  • Swimwear Fashion - Different Bikini Styles/Types

There seems to be so many different types and styles of bikinis nowadays. The bikini now has so many variants that its no longer as simple as it used to be when your off on your holidays and you need to get yourself some new beachwear/swimwear gear. The reason im writing this is actually because I recently went on my annual summer holidays and obviously each year we need brand new beach clothing everytime (you know what teenage girls are like).

So anyway I discovered that up town in most of the shops there wasnt really much of a selection/range of products for this type of thing and so then I began extending my search to the online world. Now online you can actually get anything your looking for pretty much, but I totally didnt expect to see so much choice of styles/patterns/colours and variants of the typical Bikini itself available.

Now I think these days if its a normal typical genuine bikini your after (the type of thing you expect/imagine when you say Bikini) I think its best to go for the Brazilian Bikini - this seems to be the average standard bikini with normal coverage etc. Then you have all sorts of other variants such as a Micro "thong" Bikini which is basically what it says - a much more skimpy, thong G-string style bikini which offers much less coverage especially on the bottom half. Now I was familiar with these styles aswell as the Bandeau bikini which I think looks wonderful in the way that the top half twists and it does not have the typical straps which go over the shoulder area etc. The bandeau bikini for me is like the celebrity of all bikinis - in the way that it gives that classy and elegant sort of look, I think its the ideal bikini if your sunbathing since you wont get those horrible lace lines from where the straps would be going over your shoulders on the typical bikini style. So this was actually the first time I had purchased any of these other bikini variants other than the original typical bikini and I must say im glad I experimented, trying new things doesnt always pay off in a positive way but this time I am glad I decided to be a bit more adventurous. The girls loved the products I managed to find over the web, even though at first they were a bit skeptical about it - stating we should have got the holiday gear from the shops up town as we usually have done in the past. But branching out and trying new things is always good in my opinion and you never know what you will find.

Anyway I carried on looking into it all and discovered a whole new modern day batch of bikini products I didnt even know existed. Bikinis called all sorts of wonderful names, such as - Monokinis, Trikinis, which I aim to write a new post about in the near future outlining what exactly they are and how they vary. So please keep checking out my blog for more information on different bikini variant styles and types - I hope to provide some useful information for anyone whos maybe going on holiday or looking to  buy products of this genre for whatever reason..
